Dear Alien chapter 1

1 Dear Alien, If you’re reading this you have taken over me or somehow killed me. Thanks, from the bottom of my heart. This hell that is my life now can’t end. Never ends. And so you have taken out of my misery. And that’s why I thank you… Right now, I’m sitting in Alien Human Experimentation Labs. My pencil is quivering in my hand. I shouldn't be writing with a dislocated shoulder, but I don’t care.  I need to write this. I put down the pencil and roll my sore wrist. How long has it been since I’ve written? It feels like centuries. But my normal life- my life before the aliens- only ended two and a half years ago. So it’s much, much less than centuries . I turn my head to inspect my captor. He was turned with his back to me. Unusual, but I’ll take the window. I pick up my pencil again and return to my letter. I 'm a prisoner, owned by AHE. Your company, your people, your kind. Yeah, you . Thanks to you, I’ve been broken- physically and mentally- more times...

The First Trio- How Marrena joined the Mythicals (Part 2)

After a long two kilometres of walking, Zinah started to complain. "Why can’t I just air- or earth-bend myself there?" "The wind would send the trail flying," Saryn said simply. "And the earth thing would mess it up too." "But how far can this thing walk while shot and after a fight?" Zinah asked again, only to be shushed by Saryn. The trail entered a cave. Firelight came out of it, casting deep, scary shadows out in the snow. "Are you sure we should go in?" Zinah asked, scared. "We’ll be fine." Saryn pulled out an arrow and nocked it into her bow. Zinah gulped but slunk forward with her bodyguard. Saryn fired the arrow. A scream filled the cavern. "That was... not that monstrous," Saryn said, tilting her head. "Maybe..." She was cut off by a tan blur jumping on her and knocking her down. Zinah let out a scream, but Saryn stayed calm, pulling out her sword and slicing her enemy. The thing slowed, ...

Ok. I know my latest one was recent, but hear me out. So first things first- I just got a laptop, so I'll definitely be more active. Personally, I think I write better curled up in bed and on a keyboard than on my desktop or my tablet. Secondly, I'm thinking of starting an RP blog. Not a great idea, but I'm working on it. Maybe it'd be just straight fantasy centred. Ok... story updates! The Mental Link Part 4 is just out ! Really excited. Now to wait 5 months before writing the next part! 😝 Interrogation See first A.N. (scroll down for the link) The First Trio See above The Lady in the Mirror Ok, so part 3 is still... in the works. I've been having big problems lately with author's block, sadly. Don't expect much. SNEAK PEEK- Stories coming out soon? The Guild Series Forget it. Inter-Dimensional Heroes I'm still trying to wrangle the co-creators. Fifteen No, not a story about teen angst. I'll see if I have the courage to post i...

The Mental Link 4

Yppah hit Luke hard, sending his uncle flying. The older Visoun was not expecting a fight. He thought his disguise had everyone fooled. Apparently not. Electricity crackled from Yppah's left arm, swirling down to his palm as he grabbed Luke by the neck and squeezed. The latter tensed up and shook as the shock went through him. He gripped his nephew's wrist and wrenched it. Yppah let out a groan, letting go. Luke crumpled to the ground, gasping and coughing. "I'll get you next time," he hissed breathlessly. "I'll get you all." Yppah smiled defiantly. "You can try." Luke cussed at him and teleported away. Yppah let out a sigh. His heart was thumping. He could play the tough guy, true, but his father and siblings were the brave ones. Sure, he'd had the courage to start the Fables with the daughter of the enemy, but that was because they were related. She was the closest he ever had to a little sister, and he felt obligated to protect ...

Lady in the Mirror chapter 2

“Humour.” Ella tilts her head. She found and brought a chair the second time we meet, and I’m using the swivel  chair from Typical Dad Base 7. “Explain.” “It’s a concept.” I lean back and grin. “It’s like… Gods, I can’t explain it. It’s taking something and making it funny. Play on words. Those are called puns.” “Define ‘funny’.” “Humorous.” I lean forward, pushing my elbows on my knees. She gives me an innocent look that looks like 'And?’ “Humourous means ‘with humour.’.” “So its all going full circle?” “You could say that, yeah.” I shrug. She clapped her hands together. “Tell me a joke.” “Ok.” I lean back again. “Past, present and future walk into a bar. It was tense.” She blinks a few times like she did during my first joke. Then her eyes sparkle. She smiles. And laughs. I smile. I’ve always been a joker, but that was one of my lesser jokes. Ella really is special. Then it hits me. Carah. I’m still in a relationship with Carah. My face goes slack. ...

Yes, I know I’m inactive. Please don’t get mad. 😞😟😴😩 The stress is getting to me a bit. Anyways, story updates. The Mental Link Don’t expect much of an update or a P.4. It’s coming, just not soon. Interrogation See above. The First Trio The story is 80% done. I’ll publish soon... I hope... it’s already split into parts, I’m just too lazy to copy/paste. The Lady in the Mirror I know I shouldn’t be writing stories about characters who have spent all their screen time thus far being tortured by Luke. But Jackie is a Deadpool-style author, and she’s begging for attention. And the story is already thought out. I’ll be exploring two characters in a heartwarming tale. I cried when I thought of this story, actually. It’s a sweet show of innocence, love in all its forms, and human kindness. I can’t wait to finish publishing it. SNEAK PEEK- Stories coming out soon? The Guild Series Think Divergent-style but more modern high school. It’s already on draft. Inter-Dimensional...

The Lady in the Mirror - Chapter 1

Chapter 1 My hands graze the railing on the stairs leading down to the basement. It’s my turn to clean this month, and I am not looking forward to it. I sigh and summon a vacuum. Green, as always. My eyes glow as I work the vacuum cleaner, cleaning the carpet. I zap the mold with my powers, smiling. Mom always disliked magic for cleaning uses- mainly because the maids back at her father’s castle did it that way, even though they were all magical demons ( great choice, Gramps .). But she isn’t here today. It takes me two hours with my magic- which is bad enough. I notice a door I hadn’t seen before. Something glows beyond it. I shrug. I’d already encountered a lot of cool glowing things. Something good always came from it, it seems. I open the door just a crack, sticking my head in. I look left- nothing but a desk, papers strewn across it. Typical Dad Base, Mom and I call things like that. I look right. It’s just a full-body mirror. It’s one of those things you’d look over and no...
